I want to set a morning email reminder for myself.

I remember a story read years ago. There is a girl gets up early, maybe 6 AM, and she never loses a day.  One of her friends asked how could she do this. She told that there was a daily automated delivered email to her family and friends at 6:05 AM, if she didn't get up to cancel it, everyone would receive the notification of her death today

I recalled this story when I woke up one and a half hour late than usual in the morning. I did a 10-minute reflection:  why did you fail waking up early again? My answer is, though there are tons of experiments of creative morning routines, they come and go, the only stable things I could insist is checking emails. So, for the accessibility, I have to set a morning email reminder for myself to motivate myself.

Different from the same automated notifications every day, I want to write as if I am talking to myself. It could be a short but sweet letter written before the day in spare time, maybe a quick snapshot of the current thoughts, like "You get up late but you get a new idea about an email reminder, good for you. That's the reason why you receive this email, so what time is it now?"

Sounds attractive. I'll begin.

@5plus6 .. the notification of her death is brutal! but probably works haha ... otherwise pretty good idea to cheer you up every day :)

@efran ... indeed, not brave enough to try it.
I send myself a short letter end with a question and received it this morning, replied it like talking to a friend, wrote tomorrow's reminder as well.
      So, today-self is caring about tomorrow-self, and today-self is replying yesterday-self :-D.
