After the launch of my first product, I actually start to think the whole partnership is not working, not only I force to do something I m not interested and I m doing it really bad.

So one day I sit down and think about it, this is enough I don't think I can make it, I decided to end the partnership, let go of my first staff and discuss with my partner to let him get a new job.

All these things have affected my second product, I wonder is it because of all these little things, I don't feel as motivated as my first one and I start looking into lots of tiny details which doesn't really help for the product. I still can recall just the widget style I try to code and remove for a few times.

So instead of trying to work out 1 product each month, my second product launch 3 months after that and seriously it is an embarrassing launch. I don't even dare to put on producthunt, just leave it on the indiehacker forum and look for beta tester.

I only get 1 digit of beta tester and don't really have any feedback that helps.

@knight thanks for sharing. I think this happened to me as well when my first product failed and I eventually shut it down. It affected me much more than I thought and it affected products I built after. It takes time but it's only natural and it's great that you've identified how it's affected you.

@keenencharles ya agreed and sometimes the life event might just affect your product as well.

@knight it's super hard to have an employee or cofounder break up. There is just nothing good about it. Give it time. Jobs come and go. It's a part of life.
