Whatever happens, happens for a reason!

Heard of it before? It seems like a consolation statement at times because we mostly use it in adverse times. The idea of everything happening for a reason and that reason being always good, give us a comforting sense.

But is it really true? How many times have you found yourself in an adverse condition which turned out to be good?

I don't want to argue if it is true or not but I believe we have this innate capability of looking good in every event happening around us. You can call it evolution or inheritance or maybe the world is so good now that out of 10 things happening to us majority is always of good things.

But there are always situations in life which do not fit in this criteria, which is so heavier than others that they stand out from rest. Like if you lose someone or some fatal accident you have been part of.

The point is even if something doesn't feel right, it will be alright.

The average sum of events in one's life, I believe, is always positive and hence if you will it is a bad life, may be it is just a bad day or week or maybe a month because in the end everything gets sorted out.

Peace yo!🤘

@arnavpuri the beauty of the human mind is the power of narrative. From the perspective of a logic game, there's a greater benefit to believing in positive than the negative. In other words, it's more helpful to keep a positive mindset than it is a negative one. I guess there's a reason that positivism/faith is advocated by the likes of MLK, Gandhi, Obama, Buddhism, Christianity, and so much more.
