Having a bit of trouble coming up with content to write today.

Perhaps it is my need to produce something that consistently gets other people's attention and earns "likes".  I think this stems from my need to be liked, to "look good", to get approval from others, from which I can validate that what I'm doing is worthwhile.

But what if I could just write whatever comes up first, whether it is good or not in other people's eyes?

I think I need to be comfortable with this outcome.  Meaning, I'd like to get to the point where I'm comfortable not giving a crap if other's approve of my content or not, because I think this would open the doors to explore new thoughts, ideas and styles of writing, and overall help me develop into a more mature writer.

Especially now that I'm just getting started in the habit of writing daily, I think this would be helpful in getting to a point where I find a fit between my style and rhythm of writing and what my audience wants to see.

I think it is a process (like anything else in life).  It is going to take time and repetition and I just have to be patient and comfortable with being uncomfortable.
