I've been working on a project called Maker Army for a while, and today is the day I can finally speak about it!
Introducing Maker Army, a modern platform built to provide makers with financial stability and overall, better the future of digital creativity.
Now you'll probably be asking yourself the differences between Maker Army and Patreon. If you've used Patreon for a while, you might have noticed the platform is kinda old in means of interface and functionality. Also, their API is a pain to work with, poorly documented and completely unstable (that's why you don't see many Patreon integrations out there). Our mission is to build a modern replacement with more functionality, a better API and multiple integrations with everyday services.
Also, Patreon is VC funded, which means some billionaires invested a lot of money on them, and they now need to recover their inversion. Meanwhile, we're bootstrapped (meaning we didn't take investment and paid everything from our pockets), so we can focus more on making makers life easier instead of money (this translates to lower fees and focusing more on the community).
There are some easter eggs in the landing with more info about the product, so why don't you go there, search for them and sign up? 😉
