Today feels disjointed from the past weeks. The sky’s clear and blue enough to make spring feel just around the corner, and campus feels significantly more crowded. Walkers, bikers and groups of cheeky clubmembers asking for donations while swinging plastic buckets in the air are everywhere. I had gotten used to walking without having to worry about bumping into anyone or even controlling my speed, but now I felt like a car in steady yet thick traffic.

I didn’t think that the schedules couldn’t have changed that much. The amount of students scheduled to classes at this time must be similar to the week before. But it feels like enrollment has tripled. Where had all these people come from? Where were they and what were they doing before?

During my afternoon break, I walk across Baker Ave and head to Expressions. It’s just as bad here as on campus. After getting my latte with almond milk, I have to wait several minutes until a table opens up and I snatch it like a vulture. I try doing some math homework online for about twenty minutes, but I find it too distracting being here now. Too many voices compete against each other. Too many sounds from the espresso machine. The speakers play music too loud to cut through all the other sound.

As I pack my stuff, I notice a girl with blonde hair and glasses already eyeing my table. I get up and nod at her as I walk out the cafe.

@abrahamKim - :) I can tell your frame of mind from your fiction. Get outdoors. Sit in the park and close your eyes. The noise will go away.
Listen to some good old rap music to get your groove back.
Let me introduce you to some French Rap - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjELabiPItw

Lmao i like these frame of mind perceptions. Can you give them to me whenever you feel as though you can tell my frame of mind?
