I have an idea.
Open a Google Doc and type the word Inspiration
Go on Twitter and Pinterest and Google and YouTube.
Take notes of people. Copy and paste links to interesting stuff. Take a note or two. Read a blog post. Pat attention to the design of the sites and apps you visit. Try something out. Sign up for a newsletter. Listen to a podcast by somebody you find - you will find more than one.
You'll find open-source projects and corporate sponsors and people from almost every country in the world. There are communities and clubs and schools and projects and respositories on Github.
Don't try to learn anything yet. Just explore. Be inspired. Let your brain and heart start to feel like -- Whoa -- this is going to be an adventure.
Google your topic and add the words: Fail, Sucks, Tonight, Squirrel.
What comes up? Filter the Google search by Images. Scroll for 5 minutes without leaving.
This is the kind of preparation you do when you start -- because if you don't do this once in a while, you'll think anything you do might be significant.
It probably won't.
But, it'll help other people. A single infographic could help 100 or 1,000 people over 10 years. Or 100,000 or a million.
You might create a community like 200Wad -- that starts fights, ends marriages, and produces babies.
The impact you have on this world is not for you alone. So get started. Learn something. Start something. Do something.
