The most expensive way to pay for anything is with time โ€” sadly, this is the only way we learn our lessons. Even then, some of us have to spend a lot of it โ€” like an unrighteous amount of it โ€” to realize how much we have overpaid it.

Others might argue that health is more expensive which is still a time argument. I believe BAD health shortens your time on earth to get the things done that you need to.

The easiest way to save time is with money. People get locked into problems because they donโ€™t want to lose money. Cutting your losses and moving on is the key to fast progress.

I also understand that much of this is predicated on a certain level of privilege, but a good investment of time would be to acquire skills that will support spending your time more wisely in the future.

Time is finite. Time is the most valuable resource because it canโ€™t be renewed when wasted and you donโ€™t know how much you have and how you spend it should be aligned with what you want with your life.

@chacha In economics there's the "time value of money" calculation. What's your time worth? Is it your hourly/daily/weekly/monthly/annual rate? Or is it how much you mean to someone? How much is the short time you have left on earth worth if you have "more to do"? At my age I value my time by the last calculation.

Thanks for sharing. Now back to the "more I have to do".

@chacha OMG this is hectic. Seeing your life on a chart like that makes me feel like ๐Ÿคฎ
That's really amazing tho, I know people say your time is precious and the most important resource you have, but it's not until it's put in perspective like that chart that things start to REALLY make sense. Thanks for sharing.
