Another meaningless post... Can something be completely meaningless? This is a text — a sequence of sentences that are connected in some way. So it still has some meaning. If I place random words on the sheet of paper — will it be something meaningless? I believe it depends on who is looking at it. Some people may consider this paper a piece of art and find some “hidden” meaning within it, while others won't see anything that makes it meaningful.

This works the other way around too. Something that is deeply meaningful for some people may be meaningless for others. For example, graffiti — it's like another language that is understood only by a certain group of people, graffiti artists. For most others these pieces of art are meaningless.

There is no single truth for most things — and they may be viewed differently by different people. There is usually no singular meaning for an object. We find meaning in things based on our life experiences which are different for everybody. If you didn't have experience with graffiti before, it may be meaningless for you. If you associate some relatively simple object with an important childhood memory, it won't be meaningless for you.

Meaning is subjective.
