Today will be day 30 of #100daysofsweat
My relationship to working out has transformed in a positive way. If I keep moving down this daily path ( which I plan to do ) I'll develop some really good habits and, possibly, seek to modify my lifestyle even more to incorporate more friends doing similar things into the mix. More workout buddies, cooking buddies, etc.
Here on 200 words, I've written most days over the last 240 or so since we started. Progress over perfection. This is especially true when you get admitted to the #teamstreak club at 30 days of successive writing and there's no objective benefit. Just like there won't be any noticeable change in my life after I sweat today - making 30 days of sequential effort. But, in that time, I've incorporated cycling and jogging and swimming and weights and yoga and now rock-climbing. It's fantastic.
I have noticed change.
Change can happen as you decide and take action. I think Tony Robbins is the one ringing in my ears about "the moment of decision and action".
I "decided" to do #100daysofsweat with my son. While we didn't do the whole social media part, we are accountable together and it's been great. Even if one of us misses a day, the path won't change. It's clear, forward, and enjoyable.
Now, after a single day in the climbing gym, I "decided" to someday summit El Capitan in Yosemite with my son. Let the training/streak continue.
