Shitty sentences support super streaks. I didn't mean to reply with alliteration, but it goes to show how even the lack of desire to write might stoke the coals of somebody else's fire.
I've been away from 200Wad and have no apologies to offer. There are 1440 minutes in a day and the days I don't write here, you can rest assured I'm doing things I'd rather be doing.
Yesterday, I helped my step-dad with some handyman work. We spent a few hours helping an 84 year-old lady. We installed a new toilet (upgrade) and a safety handle to help her get off the pot. I'll never see it in action, but I can imagine how frustrating it would be to be stuck on the toilet.
I met with some free mentors. The fun thing is, one of the mentors was in her early 20s. The thing I got from her wasn't a next-steps action plan as much as an understanding of the confidence you can muster when you really don't know how much you don't know. I mentioned I was starting a new business. She said I'd definitely want to do X and Y and Z. I asked about the process she works with and she described a Business Clarity Consultation. I didn't dig deep, but imagine it to be a template of questions. "Who's your audience? What do you offer? Will it make money? etc." I showed her the Business Model Canvas and her eyes went wide. "I've never heard of this before," she offered.
I love writing. I'm glad @lucjah pokes and prods me now and again. I'll come back. I missed you.
