Routine for unproductivity

Ramit Sethi: ... the best morning routine is decided the day before, the week before, even the year before. So by the time I get there, it’s just ready to go. 

Especially after I start journalling, planning the day and the week detailly for productivity becomes part of my life.

An efficient day should be prepared before, everyone knows that and it would make you feel in control.

However, yesterday I was too sick to work, then I realized that an unproductive day should be prepared the day before, too.

Unproductivity is caused by illness or accidents which are unpleasant, not like weekends, you have to kill the time alone indoors with bad mood (most of the time, in bed).

So how to make a routine for that day to transfer it into a lucky gift?

#1 organization

It's never wrong to do organization, like desk cleaning, cloth washing, floor sweeping,... 

After the short inefficient day passes away, all clean and ordered for a new round.

#2 comedies

Movies are too expensive for daily procrastination, never in choices.

But a comedy is the best for a long day uncomfortable in bed compared with social media addiction.

#3 saved reading list 

There is a huge reading later list on my different apps, only on such occasion, it would remind me to kill several.

The result is that within 5 pages I'll drop my phone and falling asleep in seconds.

    @5plus6 I hope you recover soon if is a real "sick", if is just sick of work, please take a break, recharge and come back!

      @knight You're so kind, thank you. It's a real sick and took me 2 days to recover.

      For the work delayed, feel 'sick' to catch up at first, but luckily, with an empty mind, quickly get new inputs to the old problems.

      @5plus6 - exactly! Just think how calming it would be when you get the call: _____ is in the hospital. You then pull up your plan:

      1. Pack an overnight bag
      2. Put on the email auto-responder
      3. Get out of town when the traffic isn't backed up
      4. Message the following people: , , ___ etc.
