Since preparing a journal for productivity and motivation as a gift, I am searching for inspiring journal models. After hanging around by Google, it's my first time to know Tim Ferriss and the 5-minute journal. Plus, also have learned about filter bubbles, so using DuckDuckGo and BoarderReader to search instead.
The Five Minute Journal is your secret weapon to focus on the good in your life, become more mindful, and live with intention. With a simple structured format based on positive psychology research, you will start and end each day with gratitude. Thousands who use the journal have seen increased happiness, better relationships, and have become more optimistic.
Every morning after waking up, you answer 3 simple questions:
- What am I grateful for today? (3 Answers)
- What would make today great? (3 Answers)
- A daily reminder, I am…
- What were 3 great things that happened today? (3 Answers)
- What could I have done better today?
It's simple but thoughtful. Not only touched by the five questions, but I am inspired that you could make a list of questions to answer to get motivated and self-reflection. Next, I want to collect questions to ask myself everyday while morning, during the day and at night, especially for when I am procrastinated.
There are a few questions I have found so far:
- What the fuck am I doing?
- What does my '85-year-old self' want me to do?
- why don't I change?
- What do I want?
