She had a look on her face that said that she needed to go. She stood on her toes and cupped her hand against my ear.

"I really need to go" she said. "I'm torn. I want to stay here with you but my parents are waiting for me and we got to leave really early tomorrow morning"

I pulled her closer and spoke into her ear, "That's fine. You know what? I can walk you to your parents if you want."

She looked at me with genuine surprise.

"Aww, you would do that?"

I took her hand and started to lead her out of the crowd.

But after a few steps I was stopped in my tracks. She spun me around with remarkable ease, took my face with in both her hands, kissed me one last time and took my hand and led me out of the crowd.

Who was this woman?

I think everyone around us saw it as well as I could just see bunch of people gaping at me, completely oblivious to a massive concert going on right in front of them.

I just looked back at them and shrugged.

I was being pulled along like a kite in the wind and for now, that was just fine.
