Always the last moment. I suddenly remembered I needed to document my daily 200 words.
In the scope of things, 200 words is minuscule yet seems massive when you are trying to come up with a comprehensive piece of writing. Writing that seems to leak out of the pen like sludge.
Compare words to thoughts and you'd have an edition of War and Peace completed by the end of a day. Translating those thoughts have always been tricky, especially under pressure.
Why is it that conveying the countless thoughts that rush through your brain can seem so ethereal on "paper". I guess that is why good writers get paid the big bucks. I will happily assume for now my amateur status.
So being in the nick of time, my thoughts for today were mundane household worries such as the infamous kitchen remodel, the pending downstairs update and the laundry room storage issue.
I'd rather have the problems of household maintenance and squeaking out 200 words than more serious issues faced by so many in the world. My thoughts coming to me in the nick of time are how lucky I am to be in a position to express each and everyone of them.
