and, you have to commit to writing a chapter.

Here's my evil plan.*

We're going to start with the cover.

We'll each submit our favorite. Then we'll vote. Then we'll write.

The writing will be here on 200 words and backed up to a Google Doc that we all have access to. We can edit or comment on each other's work.

We'll each write a chapter and discuss to see what we can learn about co-writing.

It's a 30 day project.

Whatever we complete in 30 days will be what we release to the world.

The $10 + cover + agreement to participate should be submitted to [email protected] -- use that for paypal.

As Seth Godin likes to say: "This may not work."

But, as @juliasaxena recommends, just keep following up to get what you want out of life.

Want to be a published writer? Here's one way to start.

Here's what you might not get:

1. Fame

2. Fortune

3. A fresh, do-over relationship with your parents

But, you might find some of this:

1. Fun and high-fives

2. New friends ( or enemies )

3. Your interest in writing

It's $10 ( the cover is $50 -- we'll split it 5 ways )

It's 30 days ( we'll start as soon as we get 5 people )

@brianball what a fun idea! I'd never heard of that website. Seems like a great way to kickstart a project.

@nicksimard - can't remember where I'd heard of it. But it's more memorable if you read it as Goon Write .com :-)

      ( are you back? )

@timsubiaco - great question: We have 30 days, so I imagine it'll be something we can produce in less than 30 days. If 200 - 250 words is like a page, and we wrote one every other day -- probably 10-15 pages?
