Our modern struggle is against abundance. Not lack. It's so much evident I have found myself asking recent times which is best "Lack" or "Abundance".
I don't have an answer yet. If you have a thought please let me know.
However the point of this post is to share tips on how to cure the disease called abundance.
1) Create a distaste for FOMO (fear of missing out)
This is a good place to start. Don't want to be in on everything instantly. On demand everything is not a blessing. You don't have see that show the whole world is seeing at the moment. Unlike 1973, it will wait for you. You don't have to binge watch that show. Train your mind well, don't make it a spoilt brat that gets what it wants when it wants it. That wouldn't be beneficial for you.
2) Act. Don't React.
When you don't have clear goals for your day, week and month. You find yourself reacting to issues. Your time is being led by whoever and whatever.
3) Once in a while switch off the internet.
Personally, sometimes the last thing i want to here in the world is the notification / vibration from my phone.
