In the absence of a 'who is following who' feature I thought it might be a good idea to write a list of the 200wad-ers I'm following, including the reason(s) they've earned my attention.
(I'm not saying this is a critical feature, but if we ever do get some insight into who is following, it would be very cool to understand why our followers have chosen to follow us.)
As an aside, there are people I should be following because I've enjoyed their writing, but, for whatever reason, never visited their profiles to click that big blue button... maybe we should get a new big blue button under our posts, right alongside 'Comment' and 'Reply' ;)
Without further ado, and in no particular order, here is my list:
@basilesamel - Only officially followed today. Turns out he's so consistent with his posts I thought I had already followed him. Not a bad 'software craftsman' either ;)
@aravindhb4 - We had a nice exchange of ideas on one of his posts where he wrote about Victor Frankl. Wanted to make sure I keep up with his writings.
@keni - We've bumped into each other on various posts and comment sections. I like what she writes and that's a good enough reason.
@efran - I love the short, honest posts about his life. He has a down to earth approach and is enthusiastic about putting it all out there. A very genuine writer.
@sandergroenlund - Like @efran, he's got some personal stuff going on. He's made some big life decisions lately and is living interesting times. Fun to see his updates.
@jasonleow - He writes about interesting things, most recently about wabi-sabi. We had a long disagreement thread on one of his posts, but he was a gent about it.
@danielmiller - He is writing a fictional story that he shares in parts, but also shares some interesting thoughts on minimalism.
@antoniogaryjr. - I don't remember what posts I commented but it was worth the follow. He writes marketing-oriented content, but keeps posts simple and to the point.
@RealNegotiator - I think I like almost all of Mark's posts. The street smart series is a creative, story-driven take on lifehacks and winning mentality. Fun to read his very regular updates.
@timsubiaco - I'm enjoying his 'novella about a strange year' and he's very engaging on posts and comments. I also think he's right about not fighting men with pigtails.
@jessica - Followed her back from the '20 things that make me smile' posts. Keep smiling!
@jeffriddall - Does not write too much web and marketing oriented stuff, and yet I started following because of his very concise post about SEO.
@lucjah - Well, what's to say. Lucjah is very far from conventional, but she is clearly enjoying pouring it out there with every update and I enjoy reading what's next.
@philh - Writes well and I really enjoyed the Vacation in Cannes story. Also, seems to be in a relationship of sorts with @lucjah...
@paulp - I was so amused by his Bob and the Cat story I had to follow. But looks like he hasn't been too active lately. Ah well. Fun while it lasted.
@abrahamKim - Based on some of his posts and comments, I'd say there's some 'synergy' between us. I wanted to follow and keep up.
@brianball - I followed after reading what he wrote about getting back on the horse if you've fallen off.
What about you, feel like sharing? Seems like this might be a good use of that big blue 'Reply' button.
